A feel of Versailles in Manila
If you are familiar with the movie Marie Antoinette played by Kirsten Dunst, you know exactly what I meant by Versailles. It is one of the chick flicks movies that I absolutely love. This film is sophisticated and flamboyant, successfully showing its audience the lifestyle a royalty had during the 1700’s.
Ryan and I tied the knot last November 24, 2012. Since he is working overseas, we failed to celebrate our first and second year wedding anniversaries together. Luckily we had the chance to be with each other this year, so I thought that making our celebration extra special is a pretty good idea. Having that in mind, we decided to hold our celebration in a fine dining restaurant. We searched for the best resto’s in Manila, until we found the Champagne Room, a five star restaurant located inside Manila Hotel. Its dainty, classic, elegant, its perfect!
We did our reservation a week before our anniversary (527-00-11). The restaurant is open everyday from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm and require the diners to wear a formal attire. We arrived at the place at around 8:15 pm and upon entry we were promptly greeted and assisted to our table. I was mesmerized by the ambiance that welcomed us.
