Wasabi balls
Wasabi Balls

The one ingredient that dominates almost all of the dishes they offer is the CHEESE! Boy! They are so generous in serving this super yummy product. For cheese lovers, this is the place to be.

I learned this resto in Instagram while looking for a place to celebrate my birthday. I was enticed with the photos of their food,  the positive comments in their feed and also lots of celebrities are dining here. I together with my office mates went here last October 2015.

Food

Appetizer
Appetizer

We enjoyed munching on these crispy deep-fried spaghetti noodles flavored with salt and I guess some more spices.

Pizzas
Left : Margherita Pizza – P324.95  Right : Uncle’s 5 Cheese Pizza – P329.95

The Margherita Pizza is topped with thick slices of tomatoes, mozzarella and basil while the Uncle’s 5 Cheese is by its name, composed of five kind of cheeses. Mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, fontina and ricotta cheese topped with fresh basil strips.

What I love about their pizza’s is the dough. It is very unique and authentic looking, very far from the ones we find at Shakeys. Pizza Hut and Greenwhich.

Our  server served us the pizza’s by splitting each in half and then combining the other half to the other. By doing so, both ends of the table had better assortments.

Volcano Roll 2
Volcano Roll – P374.95

These are baked sushi rolls filled with tempura, egg and japanese cucumber topped with melted mozzarella. This dish has a little spice on it which is so cool.

Chili
Chili Cheese Crispers – P298.95

This finger food is Torch’s take on my favorite “dynamite”. Breaded fried green chili stuffed with cheddar cheese and chili con carne.

Skewers
Tequila Lime Chicken Skin Skewers – P174.95

Very pinoy minus the tequila. These skewers are so good and crispy. For those who do not like tequila, do not worry because it does not overpower the taste of the chicken skin. I think it was used just to enhance the flavors.

Burger Mac and Cheese
Burger Mac and Cheese – P334.95

Served sizzling hot  on a cast iron. This one is so  cheesy like their pizzas, spaghetti  and volcano rolls. It also have a generous amount of meat on it. The macaroni beneath the cheese is still aldente despite of the hot pan . So yummy!

Spaghetti Meatballs
Meatball Pasta – P289.95

Oozing with rich meaty sauce topped with a beefy meat ball with melted cheddar cheese on top makes this spaghetti so tasty.

Nacho Grande
Nacho Grande – P489.95

Now this one is spicy, Tri-colored nachos top with chili con carne, salsa, jalapaeños, cheese and torch signature dressing.

Lots and lots of cheese and meat right? That is how i always remember Torch Restaurant. Although I loved all the food that we ordered, here are some of my favorites and I could say you must try:

Uncle’s 5 Cheese Pizza’s
Volcano Roll
Chili Cheese Crispers
Tequila Lime Chicken Skin Skewers

They also serves alcoholic drinks such as :cocktails, beers and wines as well as other non-alcoholic beverages like fruit juices, shakes, soft drinks, coffee, chocolate and tea.

Zomato hhb

I gave this restaurant a five star rating at Zomato.

Cost

I can say their price range is very affordable considering the ingredients that they used and the generosity of their servings.

Service

Most of their servers are pretty good. I appreciate how our orders came in time, how our pizza’s were served and also the way our left overs were wrapped for take out.

Ambiance

The over-all ambiance is pleasant with sort of a native touch. The diners will enjoy the wide screens that continuously play Disney animated movies.
