Hello bread and pastry lovers out there! Welcome to Kumori ☺
Kumori is a new bakery and cafe in town that offers Japanese breads, cakes, pastries, coffee, tea and milkshakes.Their breads are freshly baked and served to the customers making every bite very rewarding, thus their tag line “Bite Into Clouds”.
Here are some of their best sellers that I tried.
Hanjuku Cheese (original) – P48.00
Half baked Japanese style cheesecake with a rich and moist cream cheese center. It is also available in chocolate flavor and can be bought either per piece or per box of five for P240.00 . This is so good guys!
Krone – P49.00
Hollow flaky Danish pastry tube freshly piped with a creamy egg custard filling, sprinkled with snow sugar powder.
Salmon Bonito – P55.00
My personal favorite. Soft bun filled with savory salmon filling, drizzled with home made teriyaki sauce and sprinkled with bonito flakes.
Fuwa-Fuwa Cream Bun – P48.00
Creamy egg custard filled delicate hand crafted soft bread dusted with snow sugar powder. This is also available in chocolate flavored custard.
Blueberry Bioche – P51.00
Delicate premium brioche dough infused with a rich custard filling, topped with sweet and tangy blueberries and Japanese saboro crumble. Also available in strawberry and peach.
Japanese Sweetcorn Milkshake – P165.00
Also available: Choco Hazelnut and Matcha Milkshakes.
I can definitely recommend this bakery and cafe especially to those who are fond of anything Japanese like me. The ambiance is nice, though their branch at SM North Edsa has a pretty narrow space. The price range is affordable and the service is good.
Branches : SM North Edsa, Landmark Makati, SM Makati. Soon : UP Town Center, Robinsons Manila and SM Mall of Asia.
Aiwokomete!
