BENEFIT : How To Look The Best At Everything Flawless Complexion Makeup Kit

img_7442

For the record, I have never bought a single product from Benefit because man they are not cheap! There is no way that I am going to spend on an expensive item unless I am sure that it will work on my sensitive skin. I did own a Benefit Gimme Brow Gel and a POREfessional License to Blot oil-blotting stick but they were given to me as gifts.

Thus, I am more than happy to come across this kit which contains travel sizes of Benefit’s primer, foundation, concealer and powder.

The packaging of this kit is so pretty! Below is the front design of the box.img_7460

The back part of the box already tells you what products you got. As you can tell, I am in the shade “light”. The kit also comes in fair, medium and deep shades. Each kit costs P1,800.00 that I purchased from Sephora.

Let us start opening the box. img_7459

The front design of the kit is just the same as it’s box. It is like a hard bound book that you have to open to see what items are inside, very clever packaging really love it.img_7456

On the upper part of the kit, you will see some Tips and Tricks in using all the products inside.img_7451

All the Benefit products in the kit are for base makeup and they all claim to provide a flawless complexion after application. Each of them comes in travel sizes which I appreciate a lot because it allows you to try every single one of them and see if it works for you before purchasing the full size ones. They are arranged in the order of use.img_7469

The first item in the kit is their ever famous POREfessional Pro balm primer in 7.5 ml tube which originally costs P700.00. The 22 ml tube costs P1,700.00 while the 44 ml (full size) is P2,700.00.img_7454

Next is foundation, the Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Makeup in the shade “I’m Pure for Sure” Ivory in 7 ml. The full size costs P2,300.00. The products is contained in a plastic bottle with a pump and a cap.img_7449

First Impression : The consistency is a bit “liquidy” but not runny. The coverage is just light to medium but the thing that I love about is the right dewyness that it provides the skin making it look glowing. Below are the swatches.

For the concealer, included in the kit is the Boi-ing Industrial-Strength Concealer in shades 01 and 02. The full size of each shade costs P1,100.00. I love that it does not crease and very easy to apply. img_7448

I used to use the 01 shade alone because obviously it is the lighter one. Though, the tips and tricks tell me to combine the two shades. This concealer will give you a medium coverage. Below are the swatches.

Last items in the kit are the Hello Flawless Custom Powder Cover-up in the shade “I Love Me” Ivory and a little brush applicator. All of the products in the kit are detachable and packaged separately aside from this one which is a bummer for me. The full size of this powder costs P1,900.00.img_7450

The coverage is light to medium just like the liquid foundation. I like that it is blendable especially when you use a dense powder brush ( I am not a fan of the brush included in the kit).

THOUGHTS

  1. I really appreciate the reasonable price of the kit. I mean, considering all the products included, I think I had a great deal out of it.
  2. I love the idea of combining a complete base makeup set in one kit.
  3. When all the products in the kit are used all together, I noticed that it will give you a decent coverage. Honestly, not a real flawless look but more of a glowing, dewy finish.
  4. I just wish that the powder was also individually packaged and detachable from the kit just like the rest of the products so I can fit them altogether in my travel kit.
