Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler Review

Have you watched the movie The Devil Wears Prada by Anne Hathaway? It’s one of my super favorite chick flick movies and in this same movie is where I first got my eyes on the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. (for my top 15 favorite chick flick movies, click here).

I am using it for two years now and its really Uh-may-zing! It’s a perfect match for my holy grail Heroine Make Volume and Curl Advanced Film Mascara(review here), because they just open up my eyes, keeps my lashes voluminous and stay curled the whole day.

Most Asians are not blessed with naturally full and voluminous eye lashes and I’m one of those people. This is one of the reasons why I consider mascara as one of the smartest inventions in the beauty world. They are created to open up our eyes just like that. There are a ton of mascaras in the market and we just have to choose what’s  best for us depending on our eye shape, length or thickness of our eye lashes. Asakusa Home of Tempura

I consider Japanese dishes as one of my comforts foods. I love that everything is served fresh and prepared with intricacy and beauty. Me and my food buddies came across a new Japanese Restaurant in Vertis North Ayala Mall called Asakusa with “home of tempura” as their tagline. Asakusa is actually a name of a district in Taito, Japan. As what the restaurant’s tagline dictates, their specialty is tempura be it ebi (shrimp), other kinds of seafood and vegetables.
