Troiareuke Aesthetic Start Kit

If you are a Korean Beauty enthusiast or should I say “addict” (laughs!), I’m sure that the Korean online shop Style Korean is not anymore a stranger to you. Recently, they concluded a review event and I was one of the lucky bloggers who got picked to try the Aesthetic Start Kit from the Korean brand Troiareuke.

Honestly speaking, I haven’t heard about the brand until Style Korean introduced it to me. Based on my little research, I have found out that: Troiareuke takes its name from the ancient Greek word for “foundation,” and believes that a person’s emotions and external environment play a big role in skin health. Troiareuke offers holistic solutions such as chroma therapy, aromatherapy and herb therapy for skin concerns such as aging, darkening, blemishes, dryness and sensitivity. The cruelty-free brand manufactures all its products in Korea.

The Troiareuke Aesthetic Start Kit is composed of the following products: (1) Acsen (Acne+Sensitive) Oil Cut Cleansing (2) Skin Complex Formula + Anti-Trouble Formula Ampoule and (3) Acsen Recovery Cream.

**ACSEN Oil Cut Cleansing – P2,038.00 ( for 120 ml)**

Lets start with my favorite product from the batch, the Acsen Oil Cut Cleansing. Of all the cleansers that I have tried in my life, this is the only one that BLOWN ME AWAY! This product cleans my face in the most awesome way and I love it for the following reasons:

I don’t have to double cleanse anymore whenever I use this product. – After my first ever wash using the Acsen Oil Cut Cleansing, I apply a makeup remover on my face to test how the cleanser performs and amazingly, not a single dirt or makeup appeared on the cotton pad.
It leaves my skin really fresh, clean and super smooth!
This gel type cleanser never bubble or foams up but it really clean my skin thoroughly up to the dept of my pores.
The product contains no oil, hence the name. It has papaya extracts that removes extra keratin from the skin and lotus extract for moisturizing effect.
The fine, plain scent.

This cleanser is suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skin. Luckily, my skin is not acne prone but as you know, my skin is super sensitive. True enough, I experienced no break outs or allergies while using this cleanser. The micro-emulsion system in it explains why. I love this cleanser so much that I’m planning to purchase the full size one even thought its price point is up there! :p

**Skin Complex Formula + Anti-Trouble Formula Ampoule – P5,361.00 (180 ml / 20 ml)**

The Skin Complex Formula is actually a “spray on” toner which contains anti-oxidants and keeps the skin moisturized and toned. In order to intensify its effects even more, it is suggested that the Anti Trouble Ampule be incorporated with it. I had so much fun combining the two products.

You can actually combine other Troiareuke ampules (Red – Cell Repair, Yellow- Mela C and Blue – Akne C ) with the Skin Complex Formula, depending on what your skin needs. I appreciate this idea so much because it allows anyone to customize his/her skin care product based on what his/her skin really needs. This particular ampule provides moisture and nourishment to the skin. It also improves skin immunity and also has detoxifying properties.

**Voila!!! A healing cocktail is ready!**

Spray on toners have always been so convenient for me because its much easier to use plus it eliminates my consumption of cotton pads. This skin care cocktail refreshes my skin even more after using the Acsen Oil Cut Cleansing.

**ACSEN Recovery Cream – P3,109.00 (25 ml)**

This Acsen Recover Cream, by name itself promises to help troubled and scarred skin to recover fast. It contains centella asiatica extract which is a medicinal herb use to treat minor wounds. It also has calendula extract, portulaca extract (use as skin ointment) and salicylic acid. Unfortunately, I can’t testify about the healing effects of this cream because my skin is at its best state ever since I became religious in taking care of it.

But what I can say is that this cream smells pleasant and soothing. Its consistency is not too thick. Though it leaves my skin a little sticky, the glass skin effect it gives my skin makes me happy. The morning after, my skin feels hydrated and plump.

Below are photos of me straight out of bed, literally! This is one of those mornings when I use the Troiareuke Set the night before. Just don’t mind my large pores hehe, when zoomed in you can notice how clear my skin is with a bit of a glow. As you can tell by now, these products are not affordable but given its effects, for me they worth every penny.

I highly recommend the Acsen Oil Cut Cleansing (2) Skin Complex Formula + Anti-Trouble Formula Ampoule and (3) Acsen Recovery Cream to those ladies with acne-prone skin, given the amazing ingredients these products have.
