ABCommunityPH77 Grand Meet UP

– A Community For All 

July 7, 2019 (7.7) marked the first ever Grand Meet Up of the Asian Beauty Community Philippines and I’m beyond proud to be part of the Organizing Team that made it happen. Up to this date, the positive feedback of the attendees and my co-bloggers are overwhelming and there are so many requests to have this kind of event in the future. Let me share with you a few details, fun and happenings during this momentous event. 

THE PREPARATION AND THE ORGANIZING TEAM the team only had two months to prepare so the pressure was really there. Letters were sent to brands, lots of meetings, suppliers hunting, non-stop brain storming (and I’m talking about chat discussions until 2:00 AM), struggles with customs (yes! only in the Philippines) and a whole lot more. We started setting a maximum of just 55 attendees, but since more participants are wanting to attend we closed the registration at 100 pax. 

All of the pre-event activities went smoothly because of teamwork and a lot of positivity. Each member of the SkinCaresPH Team has their own forte. To know more about the people behind the SkinCaresPH Team head over to Chami’s blog here. 

THE EVENT PARTNERS, BRANDS AND SPONSORS we considered ourselves lucky because of the generous brands and its officials that entertained our requests and put their full trust and confidence on us. They provided loads of products for all! The Dalnara Team even flew from Korea to the Philippines just to be at the event. 

THE EVENT the whole gathering was packed with good tasting meals,  talks from the brand partners and invited speaker, fun games and of course a whole lot of raffle prizes and massive amount of loots! – BOOTHS – 

Apotheke Science, Connectier Philippines and RR Korean Shop set up booths and offered their products at a much lower price exclusive for all the attendees of the Grand Meet Up. 

As the participants entered the venue, they are welcomed with free almonds and discount coupons courtesy of Axis-Y. Samples buffet from Commleaf, Purito and SAAT Insight were also up for grabs. After  their QR codes were scanned, they were given their event kits with their ID’s and brochures inside.

– PHOTOBOOTH – 

The ladies and the gents had fun striking different poses at the photobooth because we know everybody loves their photos being taken with friends and newly found acquaintances. Click this link to see all of the photos from the booth. 

– THE PROGRAM – 

– FUN and GAMES  – 

To set the the mood and energize the crowd, Momo, Raffy and I facilitated some games for our brave-hearted participants (because we only announced what games are they going to play after we had them as volunteers). It was full of fun and prizes! 🙂 

– BRAND FOCUS  – 

Our brand partners allotted some of their time to greet the community and impart some information about their brands and products. 

– PINAS MASK SWAP YEAR 2 – 

Prior to the event, registered participants were instructed to prepare P250.00 or more worth of sheet masks for the mask swap (Year 1 was done purely online). We formed a huge circle, dancing to the beat of the music while passing the packages to one another until the music stops. The room was full of excitement and everyone were smiling from ear to ear during this segment. 

– SKINCARE MYTHS AND MISTAKES W/THE EXPERT – 

Our very own, Dr. Nikki Paderna, also known as @girlbehind_glasses – Dermatologist and Blogger, shared her knowledge to the group about the common myths and mistakes in skincare. Her talk was really interesting and helpful.  

– AWARDING CEREMONY – 

As our way of expressing our gratitude, the Brand Partners were awarded with certificates of appreciation and a simple token. The ABCommunityPH Grand Meet Up will not be possible without these people and the rest of the Brand Sponsors.

Unfortunately, the representatives of Jumiso, our Major Sponsor were not able to attend the event because of some prior commitments but this certificate is for them. Everyone who received their All Day Vitamin Brightening and balancing Serum were so happy! Thanks Jumiso!

At this point, in behalf of the SkinCaresPH Team, I would like to thank everyone who attended the ABCommunityPH Grand Meet Up last Sunday. The same goes to those who were not able to attend but still sent us their support. To our Brand Partners and Sponsors, our endless gratitude for playing a huge part in the success of this event. To our suppliers thank you so much for making this gathering more special! And to my co-organizers, we did great! Congratulations to us for uniting the Asian Beauty Community Philippines in one event. Lastly, I would like to thank the God Almighty for making this momentous event possible.
