Bday Venue: Aria Gastropub QC

This birthday blog is never late because it’s still October! I’m 37 and proud, though 21 still sounds a lot better char! So, since I couldn’t possibly go to La Union at the moment, I opted to celebrate my birthday at Aria Gastropub in Quezon City, where they say … transports you to Elyu!

Ambience wise, they got it. Literally, beach na lang ang kulang. The furniture and decorations really gives you a “summer night at the beach” kinda vibe. The servers even wear summer outfits which makes everything comes together. Though the pub looks bigger in photos, its actually smaller in person. Don’t get me wrong its still spacious. Located at the roof-deck of a building in the busy Congressional Avenue, the only downside would be if it rains, good thing, there is an indoor facility at the ready.

If you would like to be seated on one of their lounge areas, you have to reserve early and secure at least P1,000.00 deposit. Rate for ordinary day is P5,000.00, consumable of food and drinks, while P7,000.00 every Saturday and Sunday. Walk-ins are accepted for the rest of the other areas.

And, the food, drinks and cocktails were great PLUS, the serving time was prompt. Its worth mentioning, the crew were all great and friendly! Every dish that we had was nice and freshly prepared, supposed to be crispy dishes were indeed crispy. But if you’re gonna ask me, my top picks are: mushroom fritters (a healthier version of crispy chicken skin), baked scallops (always a fave!) and meat lovers pizza.

For dessert, we had this fried ice cream which was really good! It was served as the crew sang a happy birthday song to me. Nagulat lang ako ng slight dahil bigla na lang pala assembled na sila at my back and started singing haha 🙂
