Human ♥ Nature Tinted Lip Balm

For months now, I’m in a hunt of a lip balm that will hydrate my lips and at the same time will provide a hint of color so as my lips won’t look like Sadakos’ straight out of the well lol!

Actually, I own quite a number of lip balms to somewhat improve my dry lips but none of them “wowed” me. I mentioned from my 2015 Makeup Favorites how I like the Vaseline Lip Therapy but now that it ran out, I thought of trying other product as a replacement. This time something with a little bit of color, for me to avoid being pale looking specially when I go out.

Until finally, my good friend Shandy who is also a makeup enthusiast introduced me to these tinted lip balms from Human ♥ Nature.

After swatching these lip balms, I noticed that the Pink Orchid is obviously pink in color but on a lighter almost sheer shade, Island Kiss has a coral tone and Flame Tree has a browny-red color which is the one I picked because this is the most pigmented out of the three.

As you can tell, my lips looked as if I have lip stick on but it’s just the lip balm. Plus, it leaves the lips with a minty feel/scent after a smooth application.

My Thoughts:

I like this product so much because it gives the benefits of a lip balm and at the same time makes me enjoy the effects of a lip stick. The consistency of this product is not too waxy, very easy to work with and moisturizing in the lips. For a lip balm, it is pretty much long lasting. I will definitely get the other shades because they are perfect for every day wear just like the one I have.
